Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Sprynter Delivery (the "Service"). By booking a delivery or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

What Sprynter Delivery is

Sprynter Delivery is a local courier service. We pick up a package from the pickup address you provide and deliver it by hand to the drop-off address you provide. You can build a booking without an account, but you need a free account to pay for it.

Eligibility

You must be at least the age of majority in your province of residence, and able to enter a binding contract, to use the Service. By placing an order you confirm both.

Orders, pricing & payment

The price depends on the delivery speed, which zone you deliver to, the size, weight and number of items, and the pickup day: a pickup on a Saturday, a Sunday or an Ontario public holiday adds 30% to each delivery's price. It is shown, with applicable HST, before you pay. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. A delivery is booked only once payment succeeds. An unpaid booking is not held for you.

Delivery

We pick up only in Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge, Ontario (Zone 1), and deliver from there to anywhere within 150 km of Kitchener-Waterloo (measured in a straight line). The pickup address must be in Zone 1 and the drop-off address must be inside that area. Each zone has its own price and delivery time. Long-distance deliveries (Zones 3 to 5) are Standard only and take longer. Deliveries are made by hand, not through a courier network. We pick up every day, 6 am to 5 pm. You choose when we pick up: "anytime today" or a future day with a morning or afternoon window, not an exact time slot. Same-day pickup closes at 3 pm for deliveries to Zone 1 and 1 pm for every other zone. We'll make a reasonable effort to pick up within that window and deliver afterwards, but can't guarantee an exact time. We use the phone numbers you provide to coordinate pickup and drop-off, so please make sure both contacts can be reached. If no one is available at either end, we'll try to reach you and the contacts, but may be unable to complete the delivery.

What we can carry

We book packages up to 80 cm on their longest side and 23 kg (50 lb). Large items (61 to 80 cm), extra items, and items over 15 kg (33 lb) cost extra, and these fees are shown in your price as you build the delivery. Anything bigger or heavier needs a quote from us first. If an item is bigger or heavier than you booked, or there are more items than you listed, the correct fee applies, and we may ask you to pay the difference before we deliver. You're responsible for describing the contents accurately and packaging them so they can travel safely. We may refuse, cancel, or stop a delivery at our discretion if the contents are illegal, hazardous, or that we reasonably believe are unsafe to carry, including after payment.

Cancellations & refunds

Once a delivery is paid, we begin scheduling it, so we generally can't offer a refund after that point. If you need to change or cancel a booking, or something goes wrong, contact us as early as you can at [email protected] and we'll work it out with you on a case-by-case basis.

Loss and damage

We take reasonable care of every package. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for a lost or damaged package is limited to the delivery fee you paid for it. Please don't send items of high value or that can't be replaced.

Proof of delivery

We may photograph the package at the drop-off location as proof of delivery and share that photo with you. The photo may show part of the surrounding area.

Prohibited use

Don't use the Service to send anything illegal, or to harass, threaten, or deceive anyone. We may refuse, cancel, or refund any booking at our discretion if it violates this.

Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sprynter Delivery isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including a delivery that's late or undeliverable.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
