This Privacy Policy explains what information Sprynter Delivery collects when you use the Service, and how we use it.

What we collect

Booking info: the pickup and drop-off addresses, the contact names and phone numbers for each end, any instructions you add, and a short description of the package.
Account info: you need an account to pay. Our sign-in provider (Clerk) shares your name, email address and profile photo with us, whether you sign in with Google or with an email and password. Receipts and order emails go to that email address.
Profile info (optional): your phone number, company name, billing email, billing address, HST number and a default pickup address and contact, if you choose to add them in your dashboard. We use them to pre-fill bookings and print your receipts.
Delivery photos: a photo of the package at the drop-off location, which we may attach to your order as proof of delivery.
Payment info: handled directly by Stripe. If you choose to save your card, Stripe keeps it and links it to your account. We receive confirmation that payment succeeded and the amount charged. We never receive your full card number.
Usage info: basic analytics about how visitors use our site (see "Analytics & cookies" below).

Third-party services we use

We rely on a small number of service providers to run Sprynter Delivery, and each of them processes some of the data above on our behalf:

  • Clerk: sign-in and accounts.
  • Stripe: payment processing.
  • Cloudinary: storage and hosting of proof-of-delivery photos.
  • Google Maps Platform: address autocomplete for the pickup and drop-off addresses.
  • Resend: sending order confirmation and delivery emails.
  • Google Analytics: aggregate site traffic and usage analytics.

Analytics & cookies

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how people use our site. It sets cookies and collects standard usage data (pages viewed, general location, device type). This data is aggregated and isn't used to identify you personally.

How we use your information

To create and fulfill your order, coordinate pickup and delivery (including contacting the pickup and drop-off contacts by phone if we need to), email you your confirmation and tracking link, respond to support requests, and improve the Service.

How we share your information

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers listed above, to the extent needed for them to do their job, or when required by law.

Data retention

We keep order and account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to fulfill orders, resolve disputes, and meet legal or tax obligations.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected].

Children's privacy

The Service isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.

Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
