Questions, answered.

A few answers to our most common questions.

Who is this for?

Anyone who needs something taken across town the same day, like a local shop sending an order to a customer, an office dropping off documents, or a gift that has to arrive on time.

Who delivers my parcel?

Our own employee drivers handle your delivery from pickup to drop-off. No gig workers.

Will I get proof of delivery?

Yes. We take a photo when your parcel is delivered and email it to you. You also get a confirmation email when you book.

Do I need to call to book?

No. Book online in a few steps, with no phone calls. You see your exact price before you pay.

Do I need an account?

Yes, a free one. You build your booking first, then sign in with Google or create an account with your email and a password when you pay. Your booking is saved while you do. With an account you can check all your orders, update your card and keep your company details in one place.

When do you pick up and deliver?

We pick up every day, 6 am to 5 pm, weekends and holidays included. You choose the pickup: anytime today, or a future date with a morning or afternoon window. We don't offer exact time slots. Same-day pickup closes at 3 pm for deliveries to Zone 1 and 1 pm for every other zone, so book before then or choose another day. We pick up within the window you pick, then deliver.

Do weekends and holidays cost more?

Yes. A pickup on a Saturday, a Sunday or an Ontario public holiday adds 30% to the delivery price, before HST. The holidays are New Year's Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Labour Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and Boxing Day. You see it as its own line in your price before you pay.

How fast is delivery?

Once we pick it up, we deliver within the number of hours for the speed and zone you chose. In Zones 1 and 2 that is 4 hours for Standard and 2 hours for Priority. Farther zones take longer, up to 10 hours for the GTA and the Greater Horseshoe, and Priority is not available for them. You'll see it on the booking form and in your confirmation email.

What are zones?

We group where we deliver into five numbered zones. We only pick up in Zone 1, which is Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge, and deliver from there. Zone 2 is Guelph and Stratford, Zone 3 is the GTA (Toronto, Mississauga and Barrie), Zone 4 is the Greater Horseshoe (Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville, Stoney Creek and Niagara Falls) and Zone 5 is Woodstock and London. Each zone has one price, and the farther the zone, the higher the price.

What can you carry?

Parcels, documents, gifts and orders from local shops. Small and medium items (up to 60 cm on the longest side) cost the same. Large items (61 to 80 cm) cost a bit more, and so do extra items and anything over 15 kg (33 lb). We can't book anything over 80 cm or 23 kg (50 lb) online, and we can't carry anything illegal or hazardous. Email us and we'll quote it.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the delivery speed you pick, which zone you deliver to, the size, weight and number of items, and the pickup day (weekends and holidays add 30%). You see the exact price as you build the delivery, before you pay. HST is added.

Where do you deliver?

We pick up in Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge, and deliver from there to Guelph, Stratford, the GTA, the Greater Horseshoe, Woodstock, London and anywhere else within 150 km of Kitchener-Waterloo. The pickup has to be in Zone 1 and the drop-off inside that area. We can't book anything farther than 150 km online yet.

Can I send to more than one address at once?

Yes. You can add up to 5 deliveries to one order. They share one pickup in Zone 1 and each goes to its own drop-off. Each delivery is priced on its own, and you pay once.

Do you deliver to Toronto or Hamilton?

Yes. We pick up in Kitchener, Waterloo or Cambridge and deliver to Toronto, Hamilton, Mississauga, London and more. Long-distance deliveries are Standard only, and they take longer than a delivery inside our home zones. The price depends on the zone you deliver to, and you see it before you pay.

Can you pick up in Toronto or other cities?

No. We only pick up in Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge, which together are Zone 1. We deliver from there to the other zones, but we can't collect from them.

What happens if no one is there?

We call the drop-off contact. If we still can't complete the delivery, we get in touch with you to sort out next steps.

Are you a big courier company?

No. Sprynter Delivery is a small, brand-new local service. Give us a try and help us improve as we grow.
